After three games without a win, Jeju’s only hope against Jeonbuk came from veteran midfielder Koo Ja-cheol.

Jeju played Jeonbuk to a futile 0-0 draw in the 29th round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 on Wednesday afternoon at Jeju World Cup Stadium. The result leaves Jeju with one draw and two losses in their last three matches. They did not score a single goal in the three games.

Coach Nam said, “As it was a home game, the players gave their all. “We didn’t get three points, but the players showed their commitment, (so) it was a game where we could have gotten a point. I want to say thank you to the players.” He added that they will continue to work on improving their scoring.

Koo Ja-cheol, who returned to the roster 107 days after shaking off a calf injury, came on as a late substitute and made an impact. “He came on in the second half and made a big impact. Even though he wasn’t at 100 percent, he was a big help to the team. The players trusted him and played with confidence. They are very happy with him.” 온라인바카라

Jeju finished ninth with 35 points from nine wins, eight draws and 12 losses. In the same round, a win by 10th-placed Suwon FC (29 points), also in the relegation playoffs, narrowed the gap from eight to six points. They are now chasing the relegation zone.

Nam vowed to work hard with his players for the rest of the season to finish in the top half of the table and win the FA Cup.
