The NC Dinos completed a midweek three-game sweep of the Kiwoom Heroes.

NC, led by head coach Kang Myung-ho, took the 15th game of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League against Kiwoom 6-1 on Sunday at NC Park in Changwon. With the three-game midweek sweep, NC cruised to a 5-1 record in September. They continued to chase the leaders. With 60 wins on the season (51 L, 2 T), NC moved into third place, ahead of SSG Landers (61 W, 52 L, 1 T).

Starting pitcher Tanner Tully threw a complete game. The right-hander pitched a career-high seven innings of two-hit, one-walk ball to earn his third win of the season. Kim Si-hoon (0.2 innings of scoreless relief) and Kim Young-gyu (1.1 innings of one-run relief) also pitched well.

The offense broke through in the first inning, scoring four runs on two hits and four walks. Son As-seop, who is trying to become the first player in the KBO to reach 150 hits in eight consecutive years, went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and three runs scored. Son is just two hits shy of 150. Oh Young-soo also went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored, while Kim Hyung-joon added two hits, a walk, a hit batter and two runs scored.
For Kiwoom, it was painful to see Jang Jae-young go down after giving up five runs on four hits and seven walks in two innings. It was a relief to have Yoon Seok-won (2 innings, 1 run), Park Seung-joo (1 inning, no run), Kim Sung-jin (1 inning, no run), and Oh Sang-won (2 innings, no run) pitch well after Jang.

The bats were as silent as the day before. Kim Hye-sung in the first inning and Kim Soo-hwan in the fourth and eighth innings were the only hits before Lee Ju-hyung’s game-winning home run in the ninth. Still in last place, Kiwoom had to return home bitterly. 온라인바카라
